Building Maintenance Technician

Position Summary
The Sioux Falls Regional Airport is looking for a motivated, experienced individual to be a Building Maintenance Technician.  This valued position will be primarily responsible for routine building maintenance tasks at our passenger terminal.

Duties Include:

• Operate and maintain airport systems that may include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and mechanical functions, and/or operations including:
• Light electrical maintenance, light bulb ballast replacement.
• Filter replacement for heating and cooling equipment, Diagnostic skills a plus
• Painting, drywall repair, wallpaper
• Vehicle and pedestrian door repair.
• Grease, oil changes, and maintenance on lawn equipment
• Troubleshooting and equipment maintenance on building floor equipment

Requirements:

• High School diploma or General education degree (GED).
• A minimum of 3 years experience in building maintenance position, electrical license, and/or experience desired.
• Experience operating skid steer and other light equipment.
• Must successfully pass a ten-year criminal background check, as well as a pre-employment drug test.
